Betty “B” Gorman,CEO/President

Betty “B” Gorman a native of Vancouver, Canada is no stranger to mountain life having worked for Copper Mountain Resort prior to moving to California in 1995. She has a broad background in the hospitality/ restaurant and tourism industry along with strong business and leadership skills. Most recently Gorman spent nine years with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. “I started with MDA as a District Director producing a variety of events and managing numerous programs and shortly thereafter I was promoted to the regional office. During my seven year tenure in the regional office I oversaw an increasing number of people, programs and events, responsible for raising a net sum of almost 5 million dollars per annum. Much like this new job I met and worked with a wide variety of business and community leaders, boards, committees, community members, volunteers, celebrities, and families. I am looking forward to meeting more of you and hearing your ideas of what you want your new chamber to be!”

Tina Bruess
Director of Member Services

Tina Bruess was born and raised in the Bay Area, graduated from UC Davis with a double degree in sociology and psychology and then lived in Arizona for 17 years. Tina and her husband, Charlie, just recently moved to South Shore from Payson, Arizona.Tina has one granddaughter, who is just five years old. Other than the chamber industry, her passions include gourmet cooking, wine, entertaining, football, and Jake, her Cairn Terrier. Tina brings with her 15 years of diverse experience in the Chamber of Commerce industry, nine of which have been as the President/CEO in two different Arizona Chambers of Commerce. Tina has served on the boards for Arizona’s state Chamber association as well as the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE) and presently serves on the Advisory Board of WACE Academy. Tina is also a 2002 graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management. Tina has one son who is married and currently serving with the US Air Force. With Tina’s experience in the Chamber of Commerce industry, we’re sure you’ll find Tina extremely capable of providing our members with excellent customer service and assistance for membership needs.
