2026 City Council Voter Guide: Hear Directly from the Candidates

  Tahoe Chamber  |   September 17, 2026   |   Government Affairs • Uncategorized

As South Lake Tahoe voters prepare for the 2026 election, Tahoe Chamber has created the 2026 City of South Lake Tahoe City Council Voter Guide as a resource to help our members and the broader community learn more about the candidates seeking a seat on the City Council.

The Voter Guide gives candidates an opportunity to share their perspectives directly with voters on issues affecting South Lake Tahoe’s community and local economy. Each participating candidate was provided the same set of questions, covering topics including community priorities, economic vitality, workforce housing, the business climate, tourism, transportation, regional cooperation, community engagement, and leadership.

Candidate responses are presented in their own words, without substantive editing or commentary by Tahoe Chamber. The goal is simple: provide a convenient resource where voters can hear directly from the candidates and better understand their perspectives on issues that matter to South Lake Tahoe.

The complete Voter Guide is available to view online through our interactive flipbook or to download as a PDF.

We encourage voters to take the time to read through the candidates’ responses, learn more about the issues facing South Lake Tahoe, and use the information provided as one of the resources available to them as they make their own decisions in the 2026 election.

A Note About Candidate Endorsements: Tahoe Chamber does not endorse any candidate in the 2026 election.

The Voter Guide is provided as a voter education resource. All City Council candidates were offered the same opportunity to participate and respond to the same questions. Inclusion in the Voter Guide does not constitute an endorsement by Tahoe Chamber, its Board of Directors, staff, or Government Affairs Committee. Through resources such as the Voter Guide and opportunities for community engagement with candidates, Tahoe Chamber seeks to support an informed South Shore community while remaining neutral with respect to individual candidates.
