Ashley Hall is the Club Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and has worked her way up through the organization by working every role available. Her dedication to the Club and her staff over the last 7 years has helped the organization’s growth and success.
Congratulations to this week’s 40 under 40 honoree, Ashley Hall!
Can you tell us a little about your responsibilities and accomplishments in your current position?
I am the Club Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. I am responsible for overseeing both of our sites, our Program Coordinators, all staff, Jr. staff and volunteers. I have had the pleasure of working every role that our club has to offer. I have been with the club for 7 years and have seen it in many phases. I am proud to say that we are bigger and more AWESOME than ever before!
What has been your favorite professional moment in the last year?
Becoming Club Director. I received the promotion in front of all of our staff and board members at our annual Christmas party. It was a very special moment for me.
Do you have a professional/life mantra that you live by?
Yes. Live, Love, Laugh
Who is your role model?
My role model would be my grandmother. She has been my rock in life and she is my inspiration.
Why choose Tahoe to make your home and career?
Tahoe is a gem. I chose to purchase a home here so I could live year round and enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer. I love the mountain air and how all you have to do is step outside and you are one with nature. There is so much beauty in the basin I couldn’t fathom being anywhere else.
Are you active in any volunteer roles or community groups?
I am an active member of the Drug free coalition and I love to volunteer in any capacity.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I love spending time in my garden, planting new plants and watching them grow. I love being outside. I like to backpack, kayak, hike and enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer.
Where are your favorite South Shore stomping grounds?
I am a sucker for Nevada Beach and I love desolation wilderness!
