Independence Day is less than a week away and you still have no plans? You’re lucky that our members host the COOLEST events in town. Check out our guide to a fantastic Fourth.

City of South Lake Tahoe

The City of South Lake Tahoe is pulling out all the stops this year to make this the best 4th of July Parade EVER! Live music, incredible dancers, a 20-foot-tall eagle balloon, and more will make their way down US 50 starting at 10:00 AM on Independence Day. News 4 Morning Meteorologist Steve Bender will emcee the parade from the grandstand at Champions Plaza as thousands of parade participants look on. Also, new this year, a Food Truck Park will end the parade at Bijou Park! Food vendors of all kinds will be there serving up delicious dishes to everyone who stops by. Parade goers planning to attend the food truck park should park in the lots at LTCC and then walk to the park. The best part? Every food truck will donate a portion of their proceeds to the Tahoe Chapter of the American Legion!
