Operating a business is typically all-consuming. How can you make time to follow the issues that come before our local governments and regional agencies, issues that may directly affect your business?

Tahoe Chamber provides a unique benefit we call Agenda Watch. It is published electronically directly to eligible Chamber members at the start of each week. Agenda Watch highlights items of particular interest on the agendas for numerous local and regional meetings on the calendar for that particular week, including, but not limited to:

• South Lake Tahoe City Council

• El Dorado County Board of Supervisors

• Douglas County Board of County Commissioners

• TRPA Advisory Planning Commission

• TRPA Governing Board and board committees

• California Tahoe Conservancy Board, and others that meet less frequently

The Agenda Watch provides you with context and greater understanding of the issues being considered for discussion and action.

Knowing you can’t always attend the meetings you are interested in, we couple Agenda Watch with active advocacy on behalf of the business perspectives and interests of our members. So, you not only get the advantage of Agenda Watch, but our engagement at the meetings and on-going interactions with decision-makers. Chamber staff are assisted in this work by the members of our Government Affairs Committee, comprised of both Chamber Board and community members working on your behalf.

You are eligible for our weekly Tahoe Chamber Agenda Watch if you have opted in to our new tiered membership program. For more information, please contact Zach Fiore, our Membership Services Director. Zach can be reached at 775-588-1728, extension 305 or zach@tahoechamber.org.
