The Tahoe Chamber thanks the community for their generous donations

April 29, 2019 (South Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev.) – The community came together on April 25 for the Tahoe Chamber’s Connect for a Cause Charity Mixer to benefit the local non-profit, Live Violence Free. Attendees gathered at Lake Tahoe AleWorX to enjoy delicious appetizers, self-poured beer and wine, and live music from Adam Bergoch on the patio.

Emily Abernathy, Tahoe Chamber Director of Operations said, “Live Violence Free is an incredible charity, and it was wonderful to see the community give back to such a deserving organization.”

More than 70 community members attended the event and together raised $1,280 for Live Violence Free, whose mission is to end violence in the South Shore community through education and advocacy.

Lake Tahoe AleWorX generously provided artisan appetizers and discounted pricing to attendees, and was the perfect backdrop for the spring mixer.
