The Tahoe Chamber thanks the community for their generous donations

January 28, 2019 (South Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev.) – The Tahoe Chamber’s annual Connect for a Cause Charity Mixer was held on Jan. 24 at Riva Grill. Attendees enjoyed appetizers and Riva Grill’s signature cocktail, Wet Woodys while raising money for local non-profit, Bread & Broth.

“We love hosting this event every year because it gives us the opportunity to support an incredible local charity and better connect with our community,” said Emily Abernathy, Tahoe Chamber Director of Operations.

More than 100 community members attended this event and together raised over $2,400 for Bread & Broth’s 4 Kids program, which provides weekend food bags to over 150 students in grades K-8. Riva Grill was the perfect backdrop for this event, and we’d like to thank them for accommodating the event and providing the generous spread. We would also like to thank Lauren Lindley Photography for providing a mobile photo booth that allowed guests to use props and costumes and take fun photos throughout the night.
