How to participate
What do I need to do to participate?
- Purchase an artificial tree (we recommend 6’ pre-lit) and decorate it with a theme. Your tree will be raffled off to benefit a nonprofit of your choice (please see the submission form for available nonprofits) Get as creative as you choose!
- Your location will be added to a map available both online and physically (paper map) for display at your location
- The chamber and all participants work together to promote the trees and the nonprofit they are supporting with the raffle. Share our social media and create your own!
- Christmas Tree Lane begins on Black Friday (November 25) and ends on December 16, when we award the Trees.
- Place the tree in a PROMINENT location in your store/bar/restaurant. Hype it up!
How does this help me and the community?
- Benefits the retailer by increasing foot traffic to your location!
- We ask that you also participate by promoting the tree in your location and by using your social media.
- You choose a participating nonprofit from our list to benefit from the proceeds of the raffle from your tree!
- Christmas Tree Lane will be supported by a number of media outlets. Your establishment and the nonprofit you are supporting will benefit from the shoutouts we receive on each of those platforms (to be announced).
- You do not need to handle cash or tickets. Raffle tickets are purchased online via a QR code.
- Quite frankly, it’s fun! Compete with your fellow retailers, restaurants, bars to see who can raise the most money for the cause of your choosing!
