Organization Overview:
In October 2015, Bill and Debbie Hirsch purchased an older motel in South Lake Tahoe with the vision to create an entirely new class of hotel; one that would provide our guests with a unique experience of a small inn with out-of-this-world honest and true hospitality only seen in bed and breakfasts. To deliver honest and sincere hospitality in a clean simple design that brings the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe into our rooms.
Their mission is to enhance each and every one of their guest’s visit to South Lake Tahoe by providing honest and sincere hospitality, tasty food and beverages, luxurious bedding and amenities, intelligent design and encouraging an exchange of stories, tales and ideas between guests and staff. They also strive to provide a safe and happy work environment for the 7 Sea’s team that supports their growth and the achievement of their goals and objectives.
Tell us more about what products and services your business offers. Is there anything people may not be aware you offer?
The 7 Seas Inn is a boutique inn with a B&B attitude.
Our design is lovingly called Contemporary Rustic. The furnishings in the rooms, Garden and Mermaid Café are all about the beauty and serenity of Lake Tahoe to our Inn. They feature live edge cedar sourced from a local artist who lives on the western side of the lake and finished by local master carpenters. The magnificent photos in the rooms were taken by a talented local photographer. Our beds, linen and amenities are sourced from the same manufacturers that provide luxury products to the finest hotels in the world. Our beds are triple sheeted with warm duvets, fine linen and pleasing bed toppings. Bathrooms feature top of the line branded amenities and soft heavy weight terry. Rooms include waffle weave bathrobes that guests may use for lounging or walking to the hot tub.
At the 7 Sea’s, our B&B attitude is centered around our “great guests”. We offer upscale amenities, serve an outstanding homemade breakfast daily and offer an evening reception seven days a week, which includes wine, beer and appetizers in a personal, warm and hospitable environment.

Is there anything else you would like to share with us to be featured in the Member Spotlight?
Debbie’s background is an attorney and advocate. She most recently was the head of AA and Diversity at Santa Clara University. Bill is a hospitality executive who has worked for some of the largest global companies serving the hotel industry.
