The new Italian restaurant, Gastromaniac, is coming to town and bringing an authentic experience to an easy-going environment. Opening in the Al Tahoe neighborhood on December 21st, Gastromaniac will use ingredients from Italy to offer homemade pasta and potatoes gnocchi, authentic Italian pizza, meat and cheese boards, Italian street food, and a variety of wines and beers.

What type of business do you represent and how long have you been in business?
Gastromaniac is new Italian restaurant that is offering authentic Italian pizza and handmade pasta to the South Lake Tahoe, CA region. Customers, locals, and tourists alike will be able to enjoy an authentic experience in an easy going and friendly environment, perfect for a quick bite, casual date to a family outing. It is designed to be a place where everyone from all walks of life will feel welcomed and can enjoy great food and wine.
Tell us more about what products and services your business offers. Is there anything people might not be aware you offer?
The owner wants to bring South Lake Tahoe some of his favorite dishes and wines from his own country. All the pasta and potatoes gnocchi are going to be homemade. Customers will pick which kind of shape of pasta they would like, witch sauce selection, which will be Tomato Basil, 4 cheeses, Meat Bolognese and Basil Pesto. We’ll be serving Traditional Italian Pizza, bringing ingredients from Italy, Tiramisu’ and Panna Cotta for dessert, cured meats and cheese boards, a little selection of traditional Italian street food, and great wine, beer and sodas Italian selections. Customers will order at the counter take a seat at one of our community tables and our warm staff will take care of the rest.
