SnowGlobe is a three-day music festival that takes place in South Lake Tahoe from December 29-31 each year. Started in 2011, it has grown to be the largest outdoor New Year’s Eve music festival in the world. SnowGlobe’s unique appeal comes from combining the world’s best musicians with the world’s best snow conditions for a one-of-a-kind experience that offers the ultimate fusion: music and mountains.

South Lake Tahoe is an integral part of SnowGlobe’s identity — and the festival is committed to playing an active role within the community year round. In 2017, approximately 500 South Lake Tahoe locals were employed as part of SnowGlobe’s core team and in the days following the festival, SnowGlobe was able to donate over 1,500 pounds worth of food, drinks, clothes and furnishings to eight local organizations in South Lake Tahoe:

SnowGlobe is excited to join the Tahoe Chamber and work collaboratively with local businesses to ensure that our event reflects the local culture of the community.

“Thank you to the South Lake Tahoe community for your support, collaboration, patience and understanding. We look forward to continuing to grow with you.”
