NDOT Suspends Construction of SR 28 Shared Use Path During July 4th Holiday Week
On behalf of Granite Construction for the Nevada Department of Transportation’s SR 28 Shared Use Path project, construction will be on hold during the entire Fourth of July holiday week, July 2-6.
NDOT and Granite Construction crews may conduct minor work along the path if conditions allow; however, traffic control will not be in effect. To ensure safety while the pathway is under construction, it will remain closed to the public.
Leading up to the holiday as traffic flow allows, work will occur through Friday, June 29. Motorists should anticipate delays of 20 to 30 minutes with one-lane flagger-controlled closures in multiple locations.
Please see the press release below and attached for more details.
If you know anyone who’d like to be kept apprised of conditions and included on the distribution list to receive updates for the SR 28 Shared Use Path/Safety/Stormwater project, please ask them to email jennifer@weidingerpr.com.
