Headquartered in the heart of the Tetons in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Stio® was founded to inspire balanced living in connection with nature. Time spent on trails, in rivers and on summits inspires their beautiful, functional outdoor apparel, footwear and accessories. Their progressive, premium products are designed to meet the demands of the epic and everyday moments of outdoor life and can be found at stio.com, in their catalogs and at the Stio Mountain Studio® retail stores in Jackson and Teton Village, Wyoming; South Lake Tahoe, California; Bend, Oregon; Boulder, Colorado; Boise, Idaho; Freeport, Maine; Boston, Massachusetts, Bozeman, Montana; and Park City, Utah.
This Earth Day we’re excited to share the story behind our logo. Here in our backyard, we witness the symbiotic relationship between the Whitebark Pine Tree and the Clark’s Nutcracker that reflects the balanced interconnectedness of nature’s perfect design. It’s a simple, functional beauty that inspires our design ethos and the clothing we make.
Founded in 2011 by Stephen Sullivan, Stio makes technical and versatile clothing for the epic and every day moments so while we make fully Gore-Tex ski kits for a big day on the mountain, we also have a range of lifestyle pieces such as flannels and fleeces for hanging out with friends by the fire or recovering from yesterday’s adventure on the couch.
Their Boston Mountain Studio store recently opened on January 6th and South Lake Tahoe on March 24th. Stio is a Climate Neutral certified company and has won Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work 5 years in a row!
