Jessica Grime is a strategic leader with a strong track record in organizational development, membership growth, and community engagement. A South Shore resident since 2016, she began her involvement with the Tahoe Chamber as a volunteer before advancing into executive leadership. As CEO, Jessica is focused on strengthening the Chamber’s role as a catalyst for economic vitality, advancing initiatives that connect, promote, and advocate for the South Shore business community.
Jessica brings experience across both nonprofit and private sectors, with expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and organizational growth. She is known for her ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments, foster meaningful partnerships, and translate vision into actionable outcomes that deliver long-term impact. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to serving the evolving needs of the regional business community.
Deeply invested in the success of the South Shore, Jessica is dedicated to building a resilient, connected, and forward-looking business environment that supports both economic sustainability and community well-being. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, daughter, and their three dogs, embracing the lifestyle and community that makes Lake Tahoe home.
Emily Kolessar

Emily Kolessar is an experienced hospitality professional with a decade of expertise in luxury guest services, resort management, and full-scale event coordination. Originally from Key West, Florida, she built her career in high-end hospitality environments. Over the past 7 years she has refined her ability to create seamless, memorable experiences for guests from around the world.
With ten years of hands-on experience, Emily has managed operations for luxury resorts and led event coordination for private clubs, weddings, and a wide range of special celebrations, from intimate baby showers to large-scale gatherings. Her attention to detail, creativity, and calm under pressure nature have earned her a reputation for delivering events that feel effortless, personalized, and thoughtfully crafted.
Rooted in her love for hospitality and her commitment to exceptional service, Emily continues to elevate every event she touches.
Emily is excited to bring her hospitality expertise to the Tahoe Chamber, where she looks forward to supporting local businesses, elevating member events, and helping create meaningful connections throughout the community. Chelsie Layman
Marketing and Communications Manager
Chelsie Layman is an experienced communications and marketing professional. With more than ten years in social media, marketing and public relations, primarily in the tourism business. She brings a strategic and thoughtful communications and marketing approach to the Chamber.
Chelsie most recently comes from Yosemite National Park, understanding the joy as well as complexities that come with living and operating in the Eastern Sierra. She has a passion for supporting small business, tourism and spending free time getting outside, cooking or enjoying time with her pup.
