Use Your Member Portal to Connect and Drive Business

Now more than ever, it’s crucial to make sure we are using the connection we have as members of the Chamber. Keeping Tahoe money in Tahoe is important to our continued economic growth, and our ability to bounce back after this pandemic. There are a couple easy-to-use resources as part of your Tahoe Chamber Member Portal that can help us help each other.

Posting Member-to-Member Deals

These deals don’t have to be discounts. Now is a great time to tell your fellow members what services/goods/PPE you might have that you can sell/share/trade. Get creative and find ways to help each other and support each other. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Using your Tahoe Chamber credentials, logon to the Member Portal. You can follow the link, or you can always find it in the top right hand corner of the Tahoe Chamber
  2. Once logged in, you can find all of the handy shortcuts along the left of the page. Click through to “Member to Member Deals.”
  3. From there, you will see all of the deals that have been posted by your fellow members, browse through them and make sure to take advantage of anything that makes sense for your or your business! But to keep this program going, we highly recommend adding your own deal as well. You can do that by clicking the big blue button that says “Add Member-to-Member Deal.”
  4. Creating a deal is pretty straightforward. Fill out the form, enter the deal information, a point of contact, a logo, and how long you want the deal to run for! Hit submit for approval and a member of our team will get that deal up as soon as possible!

Creating a Job Posting

With the lack of J1s and so much uncertainty around staffing at the moment, local businesses need extra help finding good folks to keep their teams running. As a member, you can post any job you are trying to fill, and after approval, the position will be posted to our site for any potential jobseeker to see! It’s just as easy as the Member-to-Member Deals, and here’s how it works:

  1. Using your Tahoe Chamber credentials, logon to the Member Portal. You can follow the link, or you can always find it in the top right hand corner of the Tahoe Chamber
  2. Once logged in, you can find all of the handy shortcuts along the left of the page. Click through to “Job Postings.”
  3. From there, you will see all of the positions that have been posted by your fellow members, browse through them to get a feel for other business’ needs right now. Here is also where you can post your own positions! You can do that by clicking the big blue button that says “Add Job Posting.”
  4. Creating a job post is super easy. Fill out the form, enter the position information, a point of contact, a logo, and how long you want the post to stay active! Hit submit for approval and a member of our team will get that post up as soon as possible!
