Applications Now Open for the 2025–26 Leadership Lake Tahoe Program!

The Tahoe Chamber is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2025–26 Leadership Lake Tahoe cohort! Since 2003, this impactful program has been shaping the future of our region by equipping 25 participants each year with the tools, insights, and connections needed to become influential leaders within their organizations and the broader South Shore community.
Running from September through June, Leadership Lake Tahoe meets one Thursday each month for a full day of immersive programming. Participants engage in powerful learning experiences including:

Panel discussions with top local leaders

Behind-the-scenes tours of local industries and infrastructure

Skill-building workshops on civic engagement and leadership strategy
-
Group projects that address real needs in the community
Through this journey, participants gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the Lake Tahoe Basin—and graduate ready to lead with purpose, empathy, and effectiveness.
“Leadership Lake Tahoe is more than just a professional development program—it’s an experience that empowers people to step up, connect more deeply with our region, and contribute in meaningful ways,” said Jessica Grime, Membership, Events & Program Manager at the Tahoe Chamber. “We continue to see its impact through alumni who now hold influential roles across the South Shore, and we’re proud to support the next generation of local leaders.”
What We’re Looking For:
The Leadership Lake Tahoe Task Force reviews applicants who demonstrate:

A sincere interest in learning about and serving the community

Potential for upward growth in their profession or organization

A willingness to commit time and energy to the program

The ability to collaborate effectively with others

A desire to serve on local boards, commissions, or volunteer initiatives
We encourage applicants from diverse industries, backgrounds, and walks of life, including those active in business, education, government, the arts, nonprofits, faith communities, and beyond. Retired professionals and emerging leaders alike are welcome to apply.
