Cristi Creegan

Cristi Creegan took over the Chief Executive Officer position of the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce in June 2024, and she’s excited to ensure that the Tahoe Chamber continues to be the voice of business and a champion for our community. Before coming to the Chamber, Cristi was a council member at the City of South Lake Tahoe, elected in 2020, and served as the mayor in 2023.
Cristi has extensive experience in nonprofit management and organizational leadership, having served as staff at the California Rangeland Trust and the Sierra Nevada Alliance and on the board of Live Violence Free, the Tahoe Heritage Foundation, and Tahoe Parents Nursery School. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a BA in English and a JD with Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.
Cristi is a 28-year resident of South Lake Tahoe and, with her husband Bernard and their two daughters, loves to swim in the lake, read novels, and celebrate the connections that make the South Shore such a great place to live.
Jessica Grime
Membership, Events, and Program Manager

Jessica Grime is an experienced professional with a strong background in membership sales, fundraising, and event planning. Since joining the South Lake Tahoe community in 2016, she has been deeply involved with the Tahoe Chamber, first as a dedicated volunteer and now as the Membership, Events, and Program Manager. In this role, she focuses on fostering a strong, engaged member community where businesses, residents, and visitors can connect and thrive.
With a proven track record in securing sponsorships, fundraising, and cultivating meaningful relationships, Jessica excels in driving sales, marketing strategies, and successful events that enhance community engagement. Her expertise in project management, client relations, and volunteer leadership ensures that events and membership initiatives consistently exceed expectations.
Passionate about collaboration and community growth, Jessica is committed to creating meaningful opportunities and program offerings for businesses and organizations. She believes in the power of connection to strengthen the local economy and enhance the overall experience for South Lake Tahoe’s residents and visitors.
Kristin Riegel
Digital Marketing Specialist

Since 2015, Kristin Riegel has marketed and managed a variety of brands across industries including service, travel, luxury, wellness, and adventure. With a deep passion for storytelling and community engagement, she has built a career helping businesses craft compelling narratives and grow their digital presence.
Having moved to Tahoe at just eight years old, Kristin has called South Lake Tahoe home for over 20 years. She has a deep appreciation for the region’s natural beauty and an adventurous spirit that keeps her exploring all that Lake Tahoe has to offer—whether it’s hiking, snowboarding, backpacking, or rock climbing.
Kristin joined the Tahoe Chamber in December 2024, bringing her expertise in social media marketing, content creation, and brand strategy to support local businesses and foster economic growth. She is excited to help strengthen the Chamber’s digital presence and ensure the online community thrives just as much as the in-person one. With a passion for supporting local entrepreneurs and a keen eye for creative marketing strategies, Kristin looks forward to making a lasting impact on the business community of South Lake Tahoe.
Steve Teshara
Director of Government Relations

Steve is recognized throughout the Tahoe region as an effective policy, planning, legislative, and community advocate. His resume includes more than 25 years as the chief executive for various business and community organizations. Steve served as Tahoe Chamber’s Chief Executive Officer from 2016-2021 and continues to lead the Chamber’s government relations. Steve also owns his own consulting company, Sustainable Community Advocates, based in Zephyr Cove.
