The Caldor Fire has impacted the Lake Tahoe Basin very quickly since it started on August 14th. We compiled quick resources to frequently asked questions from visitors and residents:

For Businesses/Customers/Visitors
Our friends at Lake Tahoe Visitor’s Authority’s Know Before You Go lists resources concerning current air quality, smoke map projection, and more. Their live Lake Tahoe Webcams helps in viewing air conditions, especially for answering smoke inquiries in visiting Lake Tahoe.
Please note: Various local businesses are temporarily closing or reducing hours due to the smoke and evacuation warnings.

Residents of Amador County and El Dorado County
Go to this Linktree set up by the CAL FIRE Amador – El Dorado Unit. It has all the resources for signing up for CODE RED, evacuation map, shelter information, and more in staying updated.

Community Update for Lake Tahoe Basin 8/24
