The Tahoe Chamber’s newest member, Alpine Asset Management LLC, is a fee-only investment advisor based in South Lake Tahoe. They help clients coordinate their finances, manage their investments, and achieve their goals.

What type of business do you represent and how long have you been in business?

Established in 2015, Alpine Asset Management is a local, independent financial planning and investment advisory firm.

Tell us more about what products and services your business offers. Is there anything people might not be aware you offer?

We can help you organize your finances, manage your investments, and plan for retirement. Unlike other advisors who receive commissions for selling financial products, or who charge fees based on the value of your portfolio, we provide personalized financial planning and investment management for a flat annual fee.

Tell us about any current/upcoming events, promotions, or unique deals happening at your organization.

We offer a free initial consultation to help you decide if our services and expertise are a good fit for your needs.

Why did you choose to join the Tahoe Chamber?

We joined the Tahoe Chamber to better serve our community and to connect with local business leaders who help make Lake Tahoe a great place to live, work, and play.

Is there anything else you would like to share with us to be featured in the Member Spotlight?

Hunter Harris, CFA, CFP®, is the founder and owner of Alpine Asset Management. He holds the Certified Financial PlannerÔ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial AnalystÔ (CFA®) professional designations, and he graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Business Administration. Hunter started his career as an analyst with Capital Finance, where he performed research and due diligence related to real estate finance and property development. He worked as a trading assistant for Charles Schwab Investment Management, helping to support the daily operations of Schwab’s mutual funds and ETFs.

Hunter’s broad financial experience and deep investment knowledge led him to become a resource for friends and family, and he soon developed a passion for helping people make smart financial decisions. After returning to his hometown of South Lake Tahoe in 2015, Hunter started Alpine Asset Management to help people plan for the future and navigate important financial decisions. When he’s not perfecting financial plans, you can find him enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two sons, exploring new trails on his mountain bike, or earning some turns after a big winter storm.
