What type of business do you represent and how long have you been in business?
KR Squared is a full-service creative agency telling brand stories through marketing, commercials, and film. As a mother-daughter-run business, we bring a multi-generational perspective to the table. We’re all about building powerful narratives to help brands connect with diverse audiences. Our commercial resume includes national brands such as Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, and Nestle. During our 8+ years in Tahoe, we have also partnered with a wide cross-section of local businesses, non-profits, and public services.
Tell us more about what products and services your business offers. Is there anything people might not be aware you offer?
KR Squared offers tailored marketing strategy and creative content, establishing a strong brand presence for our clients. In the day-to-day, this means campaign planning, content creation, ad design, and social media management. What the Chamber might not know is that we are also a full-service production company representing directors throughout North
America. Along with our commercial portfolio, our team has produced branded shorts for industry giants like Disney, Lionsgate, and The CW.
Tell us about any current/upcoming events, promotions, or unique deals happening at your organization.
Recently, our office is buzzing with new projects. We are in the process of developing new commercials, charity initiatives, large-scale campaigns, and an exciting limited-television series. To support all the projects on our plate – our team has grown with a new graphic designer, copywriter, and marketing assistant joining the KR Squared family. On top of it all, KR Squared recently took home a National Gold Addy from the American Advertising Federation for outstanding Branded Content and Entertainment Campaign. Plus, we were honored with the Mosaic Award for promoting inclusion and diversity through storytelling alongside the world-renowned Goodby and Silverstein.
Why did you choose to join the Tahoe Chamber?
The KR Squared team chose to join the Tahoe Chamber because of our shared commitment to bettering the community. We are proud to support the Chamber in uplifting small businesses and strengthening local ties. As a
creative agency, we understand how important it is to build lasting relationships. That’s why we are grateful the Chamber provides a path to collaborating with inspiring business owners, change-makers, and philanthropists.
Is there anything else you would like to share with us to be featured in the Member Spotlight?
At the American Advertising Federation’s National Award Ceremony, KR Squared took home a Gold and Mosaic Addy – being honored among the top agencies in the nation. As a boutique creative agency, this honor means more than we can express. Although our team is small, we make waves for the brands we represent. We are grateful to Motherhood Maternity for the chance to share their story, and we are excited to tell more like it.
