Owner and creator Parker Alexander, has been designing clothes and hats since childhood. Parker has always loved fashion and style, and in his early teens, he started crocheting beanies for the cold winters in Tahoe. He would also draw custom freehand designs on trucker hats, to wear during the warm summer months. Marilee takes her love for Lake Tahoe to work everyday as the Community Engagement Manager at the League to Save Lake Tahoe. She and her team are responsible for picking up 1,473 pounds of trash from last year’s Lake Tahoe’s shoreline during the Keep Tahoe Red, White and Blue Beach Cleanup event. Between managing volunteer programs, organizing community events, and creating new solutions to Lake Tahoe’s litter issues, Marilee is also a devoted volunteer at SOS Outreach and V-Day South Lake Tahoe. As we head in to 2019, the Tahoe Chamber would like to grow the GO Local Tahoe movement even further. We are asking our community to think locally all year round by participating in our new GO Local Loyalty Program. The Chamber will be promoting a new GO Local effort called “Tahoe Tuesdays”. Each Tuesday guests that have a GO Local Tahoe “loyalty card” will be eligible to receive discounts, specials or value-added promotions just by showing their card at participating businesses.
